My relationship with White Jesus is fraught with denial and betrayal. I have denied him many times. He has betrayed me many times.

I understand he is being born tonight. And my people, the Africans are right now caught up in a frenzied celebration of the birth of the Israeli god.

And yet at this precise moment, we have received news that the Israelis have bombed Gaza and Palestine anew and killed thousands of innocent children and adults.

Well, merry Christmas! Let us share the goats and call it a celebration of meeting relatives and friends we hadn’t seen in a long time. That’s all it is.
