I like to treat this wall as my public diary, as in it is a me me me me wall. The focus is me and the life that I lead both in real life and in my imaginary fancy world. Yes, even as a child, I always had my head in the clouds.
If you are the type that gets bored easily when all the sentences you read begin with I, then I guess it’s going to be a really boring wall for you.
Because this year, 2024, I intend to slant the focus to me. I want to do stuff for me. I want to live. I want to travel to half of the States. I want to love deeply and be loved back. You know, all the things that a woman who will in a few years be an empty nester should be doing.
Daily, and so unfortunately, I read updates from you on friends or relatives who have gone before us. And it shocks me to the core when I realize these people are my agemates. Sigh… I wish we had longer lives…
I tend to ramble. Because my thoughts fly faster than my thumb on this phone. What I really wanted to say is, I wish that on your own walls, you would write a little more about YOU. Like celebrate yourself and your achievements? Even managing to keep a job or a small business going is a feat worth celebrating…
